The FortiSwitch 3032G provides 40 / 100 Gbps access ports in 32-port configurations with n/a uplinks. Managed directly from a FortiGate over FortiLink — no separate switch controller to buy, licence or run.
Thirty-two ports at 40 or 100 Gbps — a spine or high-density aggregation switch, and the largest FortiSwitch. There are no access-layer considerations here at all: the decision is fabric design, optics and rack power. Confirm the FortiGate's maximum managed-switch count before designing a FortiLink estate around it, since that ceiling ranges from 8 on an entry-level firewall to 300 at the high end.
