The FortiSwitch 100 Series provides 1 Gbps access ports in 8, 24, 48-port configurations with 1 or 10 Gbps uplinks. Managed directly from a FortiGate over FortiLink — no separate switch controller to buy, licence or run.
Gigabit access in 8, 24 and 48 port counts with 1 or 10 Gbps uplinks — the smallest FortiLink-managed switch, for closets where the requirement is ports and PoE rather than throughput. No redundant power on any model, so it suits sites where a switch failure is an inconvenience rather than an outage. The 8-port models are genuinely useful behind a desktop FortiGate at a branch that has outgrown its firewall's built-in ports.
